Diržus reik kažkokiu beveik stebuklingu būdu išskalbt, kad pasišalintų nešvarumai ir vėl bus kaip šilkiniai ir slys per kilpą. Sutraukėjai neišsitampo taip greit, o senesni jei išsitampę, tai galima spiralę dar keliais apsukimais patemt.

My wife's car has been suffering from the seat belt that won't retract fully. Fairly common on the 9-3SS. It's already been replaced under warranty.

Today I took the trim off to have a look.

The seat belt retraction is perfectly strong enough. The problem lies in the top mounting where the belt runs through the slot in the metal plate.

There are two problems here.

One is that the metal is coated in plastic. The plastic has a moulding line in the middle right where the belt puts most load on the plate. This increases friction on the belt.

The other is that the plate itself should swivel freely around the fixing bolt. The bolt has a collar so that is does not trap the plate when it is fully tight. At some point in its history the bolt collar had caught the edge of the hole and torn the plastic coating. The plate did not swivel freely causing the belt to slide to the end of the slot and start to curl up at the edge.

So....

I threaded some emery paper through the slot and polished off the moulding flashing.

And then, using a knife and file, I trimmed away the damaged plastic in the bolt hole. I also emeryed the paint off the outside of the bolt collar. A spray of silicone lubricant on the plate kept it all loose (I wrapped the belt in a bit of polythene torn from a carrier bag to keep it clean).

Fairly tricky to get the trim back on as it snaps into place and you have to locate the handle that raises and lowers the top mounting at the same time. When removing it, you have to loosen off the scuff plates in the door bottoms so that the B pillar trim can be pulled away at the bottom and then dropped away from the roof. It's all in one piece; the seam halfway up is welded up and doesn't come apart.

Savaitgaly bandysiu krapštyt. Jei viskas "gausis", pabandysiu foto įmest, nes matau, jog bėda ne pas viena. O jei nesigaus, tai....

Susitvarkiau diržus saab. Nesunkiai galima viską susitvarkyti per 30min. Pasidalinsiu su jumi.



1. Nuimam apatinę apdailą. Tai galima padaryti pirštais arba ukišus per sujingima atsktuvą.



2. Atkabinam apatinę galinę apdailą (nuimt nereikia). Prastos kokybės foto



3. Atkabinam šoninę apdailą. Reika pradėti nuo apčios į viršų. Yra 4 laikikliai: 2 "šponkės" ir 2 tokie, kaip apatinėje apdailoje.





Atsikabina paprastai, rankomis patraukus į save. Jėgos nereikia (daug).

Laikiklsi prie sujungimo



Taip atrodo nuimta apdaila. Beje, viršuje yra du liežuvėliai kurie prilaiko tą apdailą. Atkabinus nuo "šponkių", apatinę dalį reikia stumti link vairo. Tada gražiai išsumauna.

Toliau prie reikalo:) Problema buvo brudas susikaupęs po diržu.



Mano atveju užteko "škurke" pašveist. Aš šveičiau taip "normaliai", kad greitu laiku vėl netektų ardyt



Kaip ir viskas. Surenkam atgal ir važiuojam.

P.S. Nesinervinkit, jei pašveitus ir dar nesurinkus nebus norimo efekto. Diržas "laisvai" vaikšto esant tokiai pozicijai, kai sėdi vairuotojas. Surinkite viską atgal ir ižbandykite

Taigi. Priemonės: švitrinis popierius, atsuktuvas ir 0,5L skystos duonos. Aš viską dariau lauke. Pirmą išrinkau per valandą, nes reikėjo fotografuot ir pagurkšnot... Keleivio sutvarkiau per 10min.
